The rising issue about blue orchid also known as blue mystique whether natural or fake surprised many orchid lovers. The price of blue orchid’s doubles compared to other varieties. It is considered as a rare orchid. The American Orchid Society based in Delray Beach was questioned about cultivation of blue orchids.

The truth is blue mystique is not dyed or painted. It is not hybridized, the color blue is the result of a patented process. They infuse white orchids with a special medium which resulted in a blue color. Blue mystique is not natural, it came from white orchids. Anything that is not created by nature is not considered natural. Many orchid lovers felt frustrated knowing the truth. Blue orchid is not real, the formula was perfected through research and testing years ago. The company that produces blue mystique kept it as a secret until many had questioned its existence.

People who owned blue mystique got a lot of mindful thoughts on how to maintain the blue color of the plant. A warning was given by the company who produces blue mystique “new blooms will be white in color”. What kind of care should you give your blue mystique? Fertilize the plant not the flower and make sure that there is no water on the leaves. Feed it with fertilizer with every other watering. When it loses it shine, you need to mist it several times a day.

Cut off the stem when flowering is finished about 2 inches above its leaves. Repotting is also needed, allowing the roots to hang. The main purpose of repotting is to provide the plant with nutrients on the new medium. The plant will flower again when properly taken care of but remember, do not expect that you will have the same blue colored flower.

Science and technology can change everything like how they made blue mystique but what is important is the truth should not be blinded by false statements. The secret with blue orchid or blue mystique is revealed. Will it still be considered as the most unique orchid? Will it still be the hottest flower in the market that everyone likes to own? Its existence is still loved by many who do not know the truth. An ordinary orchid turns into an adorable and interesting flower that is one of a kind in color.
